In accordance with requirements of the NYS Commissioner of Education’s Comprehensive Public School Safety Program, Savin Engineers, P.C. has been providing building condition survey, annual visual inspection, and five year capital facilities planning services to the Greenburgh-Graham Union Free School district.
Building condition surveys included a thorough visual inspection of the district’s elementary building and middle/high school buildings (interior and exterior); grounds, major systems and components, and operational support systems for the facilities. These evaluations are the basis for the development of a comprehensive repair, alteration, and capital improvement plan. The five year plan prioritizes and schedules the existing backlog and deficient conditions over a five year period; and by providing probable associated costs for the deficiencies, the plan provides a long-term budget strategy to accomplish the work.
